Business finance comes in many shapes: chattel mortgages and leases for vehicles and equipment, secured and unsecured business loans, commercial property loans and ways to manage tax or other debts. The best structure depends on your cash flow, your ABN history and what the money is for.

Business finance: common questions
Can I get business finance with a new ABN?
Some lenders consider businesses with less than two years of trading, especially for vehicles and equipment, though you may need a deposit or extra information.
What is a chattel mortgage?
A chattel mortgage is a common way to finance a business vehicle or equipment. You own the asset from day one and the lender takes security over it until the loan is repaid.
Do I need financial statements?
Not always. Low-doc options are available for some loans, using BAS or bank statements instead of full financials.
